I chanced on a post on Facebook from one of my friends which kept me thinking. The Facebook post was a quote by Zig Ziglar which states "you don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great." Looking back at my life, I realised that this quote from Zig Ziglar is very true. I have always waited to get "my ducks in a row" before attempting to do anything. However, life has taught me that it is not a prudent way of living because sometimes, you just have to start, anyway. You cannot always wait for everything to be in order before you start something new. You don't have to be perfect to start doing something. You don't have to always start big in order to win big. Sometimes, it is the little beginnings that leads to greater success. Life can be hard. Starting new things can be even harder.
